ecobug® Peristaltic Pump
As most of the FOG's comes from dishwashers and sinks you need to put the ecobug® setup up stream of these - see downloadable instructions. The peristaltic pump is a positive displacement pump, used to inject ecobug® grease degrader in an ongoing dosage when attached to the furthest sink unit from the mains drainage. The process is called peristalsis and used in many biological medical systems. (a flexible 9mm tube fitted inside a circular pump casing, this inhibits any contamination before entering the sink unit drainage system.
An average commercial kitchen sink unit will use daily a 160ml of ecobug® grease degrader ongoing dosage, which provides circa 4 months of operational use from a 20 litre container.

ecobug® Sewage Treatment Bug
One of the major issues facing municipalities and utility companies within the drainage system is the creation of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) caused by bad bacteria breaking down the sewerage in an anaerobic environment.
The first issue is that the H2S, caused by bad bacteria breaking down the sewerage in an anaerobic environment, is combining with water in the sewage systems. This process is done by the same bacteria that made the H2S. The outcome of this reaction is the creation H2SO4 aka Sulphuric Acid. Sulphuric Acid is destroying the pipelines and pumping stations.
The second issue is that H2S has a very powerful odour; this odour can be likened to rotten eggs.
The solution is the ecobug® Sewerage Treatment (eST) it is a highly concentrated bacterial powder that is supplied in 200g sachets, it is also engineered to contain a chemical oxygenator (Oxyfoam) and a slow release oxygen supply (SRO2).
The product will work by turning an anaerobic environment aerobic, slowing the production of H2S, then the high concentrate of bacteria will out compete the bad bacteria, stopping the by-product H2S and creating the by-product H2O. EST will also speed up the degradation of the organic matter.
Results will be noticed fairly rapidly, within the first 3-4 weeks

The good bacteria in the ecobug® Landfill Spray System will digest the organic matter in the landfill and out compete the foul odour-producing bacteria present; we have utilised free enzymes that will work very quickly in the first instance before the bacteria has colonised.
A reduction in smell should be noticed within 20-30 minutes of application. The bacteria will continually work and divide every 20 minutes as long as there's food, they will even work without any oxygen thus reducing historic odours returning once buried.

The ecobug® Landfill Spray System also will increase the rate of degradation of the organic matter in the same way that composting works, just at an accelerated rate. With tipping space at a premium on a landfill site this could prove to be very beneficial.
